The purpose of the event is to highlight and discuss the role of Swedish authorities in the context of the Swedish Policy for Global Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) listed in the 2030 Agenda; and the coordiation of the Swedish authorities with civil society, academia and the private sector. The goal of the seminar is to outline a vision on a future situation where Swedish authorities are efficiently contributing to global development.

The seminar will present different perspectives on natural resource management, the role of institutions and on good governance in the context of development cooperation. These perspectives will come from different speakers with experiences from government agencies, civil society, private sector, research society and development cooperation.

Three international speakers, two national Director Generals and representatives from the authorities as well as civil society will give their views.
