Be a hacker at Food Hack: The innovation competition and food conference

Does innovation, sustainability and food make your heart leap? Are you passionate about the more sustainable future of food? Then join us!

The Food Hack is a 48 hour long innovation competition and food conference for the global food community initiated by Krinova & the research council for sustainable development – Formas. This year’s theme is “A Healthier Planet” we set out to tackle challenges related to the sustainable development goals defined by the United Nations in the Agenda 2030. Food and the food system design play a vital role in fulfilling these goals to ensure access to food, water, and renewable energy while preserving ecosystems, biodiversity, and stable and equal societies. Hackers will work in teams to set up projects boosted by the latest research and experienced mentors. All in the spirit of challenge driven open innovation!

Make Bad Food Choices Harder – Sustainable Food at the EAT Forum

The EAT forum was an opportunity to hear from a wide array of world-renowned experts about their work related to sustainability, food and nutrition.  From having not attended the first day, I came in fresh faced and full of energy.  I got the impression from the first few speakers that the dinner the night before was a late one.
