Agroforestry Network warmly welcomes network members and colleagues to a pre-launch of the new report on agroforestry on 1 October. Read the material, conclusions and recommendations before being released externally and contribute to a discussion on the same.

This event will be held in English.

What are the proven effects of agroforestry? How does the land management system contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals – with a focus on SDG 1 No Poverty, SDG 2 Climate Action and SDG 15 Life on Land? And what are the challenges of scaling up?

This is also an opportunity for experts and employees from the network partners to get to know each other better and contribute to future strategies and activities for the Agroforestry Network.

Date: Monday, October 1st
Time: 10.00 – 12.30
Venue: Vi-skogen, Franzéngatan 6 (plan 9), Stockholm Directions

Register here!

More information is available on Agroforestry Network.

In the afternoon, at 15:00 – 16:30, there will be an external launch of the report together with the think tank FORES (in Swedish). More information below.

To feed a growing population, combat climate change, and preserve biodiversity, there is a need to develop sustainable agriculture systems. Agroforestry is a pathway towards this. But why is it not used more? Why is it not more visible in strategies and budgets?

Så bidrar agroforestry till globala målen. Seminarium och rapportsläpp

This event will be held in Swedish.
