Sweden and IFAD share a strong commitment to eradicating poverty and hunger and supporting smallscale farmers engaging in efficient, resilient and sustainable agri-food value chains. Sweden is a founding member of IFAD and the Fund was led by a Swedish President from 2001 to 2009. As a consistent top contributor and a key partner to IFAD’s core resources, Sweden has helped IFAD strengthen food security, empower rural women and youth, and expand climate resilience for millions of vulnerable households across low-income and lower-middle-income countries.

Join the virtual career seminar hosted by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in Rome. Discover opportunities to work at IFAD and contribute to global food security.
