On September 23, Femy Pinto, member of the SIANI Expert Group Wild Foods, Biodiversity and Livelihoodparticipated in the online event Protection for resilience: Synergizing SDGs to achieve resilient food systems arranged by the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).

The discussion draws upon interconnections of food systems with sustainable cities and communities, connections between food security, forests and land use, the practice of circularity in agriculture and the preservation of indigenous people’s authentic identity as a vital contribution to biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihood and food security.
