MBC (Madagascar Biodiversity Center), lead of the SIANI Insect-based protein expert group, has developed and tested black soldier fly (BSF) microfarms across Madagascar, with support from the SIANI Small Grants Programme. They have released helpful step-by-step manuals to farmers who wish to start their own black soldier fly farms for cheaper animal feed and improved harvests.
