The SIANI Expert Group Growing Agribusiness Entrepreneurs aims to enable a new generation of young African entrepreneurs to create wealth, employment and provide access to sustainable, safe and nutritious food to local and global communities while promoting women empowerment and gender equality.

The Agripreneurship Alliance, together with  Generation Africa, the African Management Institute and with support from the Swedish International Agricultural Network Initiative (SIANI), produced an online training focusing on Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness. The training supported hundreds of young African entrepreneurs in agriculture to develop high-quality business plans for launching or growing their businesses. Following the training, the Agripreneurship Alliance received more than 80 business plans that are currently being reviewed and provided with individual feedback.
