More and more vulnerable individuals rely on animals for survival, livelihood, and self-worth. Additionally, we share our water sources with various species. However, many WASH interventions do not consider the important roles, needs, and effects of animals on water. The hybrid session aims to:

- Bring visibility to animals as a critical component of WASH contexts,
- Offer opportunities for participants to learn and share best practices that widen the scope of questions that can be addressed in WASH interventions, and
- Encourage cross-sectoral cooperation.
