FoSSNet will host its second European Food Systems Science Conference in Lund, Sweden, from 9 to 11 June 2026 at LUX (Helgonavรคgen 3).
The theme of this edition is: Mobilising food systems transformation: Enhancing capabilities in Research, Education and Practice.
The conference will revolve around three main themes:
- Food systems science for food systems transformation: addressing scientific approaches, theories, novel tools and research needed to accelerate food system transformation;
- Transformative actions: learning from best and โworstโ practices โ bringing forward real case studies and lessons learnt;
- Advancing food systems literacy: strengthening education, curricula, participatory approaches and interdisciplinary competences to support sustainable, fair and resilient food systems.

We welcome submissions from researchers and professionals at all career stages and across sectors (academia, industry, education, policy). Paper presentations will be included in selected parallel sessions as short pitches, while posters will be presented in a dedicated session.
