To mitigate climate change and improve soil quality, as well as reduce waste and producing energy, the carbon-negative process of biochar technology is key.
The long-awaited Biochar Summit 2023 will be held in Helsingborg, Sweden on the 12-15 June, and assemble main actors from the field to discuss the role of biochar technology in solving a variety of global problems simultaneously.
On the agenda of the summit are study visits to biochar production plants and two workshops with focus on biochar production and business models, and the research area of soil science. The International Biochar Conference will also take place on June 13-14. The summit will provide four days of networking and intensive discussions on carbon dioxide removals, urban application, material, policy and soil science.
