Intern at SIANI
David is doing his internship at SIANI during the spring of 2018. His main interests are forestry and environmental economics, particularly the potential uses of trees for enhancing community livelihood. He believes that the interdisciplinary approach used by SIANI is essential for providing sustainable and economically viable solutions to the communities most at risk from climatic change.
David has an international background through having lived in different countries during his childhood, which has fostered his interests in global issues and international cooperation. He completed his BSc in Environmental Science in 2015 from Queen Mary, University of London. Since finishing his degree David has studied economics, travelled in South America, and worked as a teacher.
