Interested in land and resource rights?

During the first week of October, Stockholm will be a global hub for dialogue on land and resource rights, as various institutions host seminars and workshops that bring the challenge of land tenure into focus.

If you are interested in engaging with land and resource rights leaders, thinkers, implementers and activists, welcome to a Development Talk at the Swedish Development Agency, Sida entitled Land rights — combating climate change and advancing peace and gender equality. This Development Talk will focus on how securing land and forest rights are part of the solution to climate change, conflict and gender inequality challenges.

The morning seminar will discuss the importance of secure land rights and present the International Land and Forest Tenure Facility. The afternoon workshops will concentrate on the implementations of these rights with focus on pilot projects of the new Stockholm-based financing institution for land issues, the Tenure Facility.
