The World Seafood Congress will convene in Chennai, India, bringing together global seafood trade leaders, policymakers, and experts to explore the latest innovations, sustainability practices, and emerging trends impacting on safe sustainable seafood trade.
It provides a platform for in-depth discussions and the latest developments on the future of the global seafood industry – helping create awareness and promote best practices in fishery and aquaculture sector safety, equity and sustainability in trade.
The conference is co-organized by the International Association of Fish Inspectors (IAFI) and the Government of India’s Department of Fisheries with technical cooperation from WorldFish and United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
