Of the approximately 154 million SEK allocated by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) to development research during the period 2017-2021, more than 27 million were rewarded to SLU. Research will help to create better living conditions for people living in poverty and oppression and will contribute to a sustainable global development. Support is given to research of the highest scientific quality in all scientific fields.
