The Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) will host the hybrid event Development Talks on the 20th of October. The aim of the event is to discuss the newly adopted human right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. The hope of adopting this new resolution is that it will demonstrate political commitment and lead to accelerated action on the triple crises of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution that we are facing today. The event will further discuss potential challenges and opportunities of the resolution and which actors that have a role to play in fulfilling this right.
