Matthew Fielding is the Communications Manager at the Swedish International Agricultural Network Initiative (SIANI). Established in 2008, SIANI aims to enhance collaboration among international development actors with a focus on reducing poverty through sustainable agricultural production.

The 2015 Paris Climate Conference, COP21, and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development provided the context for the third Annual SIANI meeting, where the SDGs in particular became the recurring theme in many presentations and discussions.

The motto of the Global Landscapes 2015 implies that everything is connected. Indeed, land use change and related issues are among major drivers of the changing climate. As the global leaders gather in Paris for the COP21, the Global Landscape Forum aims to leverage the opportunity to shape the global development agenda.
