Jackie Owili

Jackie is a young Kenyan lady who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Community Development from Moi University Kenya.She works as a Community Development Worker Volunteer at SOS Children's Villages Kenya. She is passionate about food security in her country more so championing for empowerment and inclusion of rural women in the Agriculture sector. She has vast experience as a Research Assistant in qualitative data collection and transcription. She also honed her leadership skills through the Young African Leàders Initiative (YALI ) Regional Leadership Center East Africa program, which was the brain child of former US President Barrack Obama, aimed at empowering young African leaders to be effective change makers in the continent.
