Terra Madre Nordic is the meeting of the Nordic Slow Food network of small-scale, high-quality producers, activists, academics and cooks.

Over the weekend of 27th-29th April 2018, there will be a marketplace showcasing producers, Slow Food, like-minded organizations and more. A range of taste workshops and moderated tastings will focus on product pairings and production methods, while talks, panels and debates will explore the politics of food. The objectives are to start a dialogue across the Nordic countries about sustainable food production and consumption, create stronger, dedicated networks and relaunch the conversation about good, clean and fair New Nordic Food.

Planned activities involve: Workshops, Dinner Dates, Chefs from Nordic countries, Slow Food Meetings, Debates, University of Gastronomic Sciences, Slow Fish Area, Youth Workshop Area, Saturday Night Party, Excursions and much more!

How can you get involved?

Slow Food: Become a member and gain access to even more activities during the event and get a discount on taste workshops. Support the network for good, clean and fair food for all.

Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help during the event. There are various ways to help depending on your interests, so get in touch!

Hosts: SlowFood are looking for host families for the many people joining from out of town. If you would like to host one or more visitors and live in or around Copenhagen, please get in touch.
