Urban farming, food policy, food entrepreneurship, alternative food channels, waste management, certification labels, new research findings, etc. Our food system is very diverse and complex today. How can we then sustainably build up food security? And how is the holistic approach of Agroecology imperative to this? These questions will be discussed on the Agroecology Day 2019 at the 8th of May at SLU Alnarp.
The event is designed to promote current research in food systems. Creating a connection between producers and consumers is essential, therefore the event is layed out as an open space and a platform that generates communication. The event is open for everybody who is interested in sustainability, especially in food production and consumption, who wants to learn, discuss, or share their experiences.
Join the day for vivid discussions on the 8th of May in Aulan and Foyer at Alnarp! This event will be live streamed.
